Jana Jensen

Jana works from her home office near Bingham, Nebraska, providing technical assistance to the NCF affiliated funds in primarily the western portion of the state. Jana also works with the HomeTown Competitiveness Program as a site leader in the Sandhills/Mullen area and also in Perkins and Chase counties.
Prior to joining NCF in 2002, Jensen served as the vice president of member services for the Nebraska Cattlemen organization. She currently serves as the fundraising coordinator for the Nebraska Cattlemen Research and Education Foundation. Earlier, Jensen spent six years with The Baldridge Company, a purebred livestock marketing company based out of North Platte, Nebraska.
Jensen graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications with minors in journalism and animal science. Jensen lives on her family’s ranch near her hometown of Bingham, Nebraska, with her husband J.C., daughter Jada and son, Cameron. They are partners in her family’s ranching operations, which include raising registered Gelbvieh and Black Angus cattle. They also raise and train performance quarter horses and Border Collies.
Seventeen Valley County youngsters learned about building their own business during a three-day Entrepreneurship Discovery Camp in June 2011. The free event included lunch, snacks and educational materials, plus seed money to purchase supplies for new business ventures. The camp was made possible through a grant from NCF’s Valley County Community Foundation Fund – Youth Endowment.
