Reggi Carlson

Reggi handles NCF’s strategic communications, marketing, publications, grant writing and reporting. She also assists NCF’s affiliated funds located across the state with press releases, donor stories, fundraising letters and other marketing tools.
 
Reggi has more than 25 years of successful fundraising and marketing experience with several Nebraska nonprofits, including the Heartland Center for Leadership Development, the Lincoln Arts Council and Orchestra Association and the Girl Scouts. She spent several years with Nebraska Public Television, where she won a national award for community outreach programming. She is an experienced public facilitator, and has completed certificate programs through the International Association of Public Participation.
 
Reggi grew up on a farm near Wahoo, Nebraska, and still loves the wide open spaces, friendliness and the sense of belonging that she finds in rural environments. She believes that successful rural communities are central to the sustainability of our nation and our world.

Reggi received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her volunteer efforts have been focused on local school programs and projects in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she lives with her husband and two sons.

Gift Funds Final Constructions Costs for Medical Clinic

Paige Eaves traveled to Wauneta the summer of 2009 to present two checks totaling $100,000 to the Wauneta Community Foundation Fund from the estate of her parents, Cliff and Betty Boyce.

The gift provided enough funding to cover the final construction costs of the new medical clinic and additional equipment purchases. Although Cliff and Betty hadn’t lived in Wauneta for more than 50 years, they always considered it their hometown.
