Atkinson Community Foundation Fund
WHO WE ARE
The Atkinson Community Foundation is dedicated to the improvement and long-term viability of the Atkinson community. A permanent endowment fund has been established, through which only the annual earnings are used for projects. As the endowment grows, so will our quality of life for families today and future generations. A volunteer Fund Advisory Committee works actively to increase charitable giving and award grants to worthwhile organizations that are addressing the emerging needs and future opportunities in our community. The Fund Advisory Committee members are: Barb Beckwith, Lisa Bilstein, Jim Brennan, Nicole Cadwallader, David Fredrick, Laurie Hansen, Brent Hooey, Erin Jelinek, Monique Johnson, Adam Ketteler, Megan Mitchell, and Shannon Olberding.
WHAT WE SUPPORT
As the Atkinson community endowment grows, funding will be available for projects and programs that have long-term positive impacts on our community. There are a number of causes you already care about that need your support:
- Entrepreneurship Development & Training
- School Lunch Backpack Program
The Atkinson Community Foundation Fund enhances the quality of life and helps create new opportunities in the Atkinson area by:
- Supporting and strengthening local nonprofit organizations
- Providing innovative ways for donors to benefit their community
- Identifying needs and making grants in our community
- Participating in partnerships with other community groups
