Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Coordinator reports to the Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund Advisory Committee.  Provides oversight for the Fund’s achievement of its mission and financial objectives in accordance with its articles of operation, vision statement, and policies.  Responsible for assisting with overall implementation of action plans, assisting with revenue generation, and oversight of financial management and Fund operations.  Works with individuals, businesses and community organizations as the Fund representative and liaison to educate the community about the work of the Fund and to build partnerships that further the Fund’s mission.  Requires the ability to work some nontraditional hours and to travel.

The Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund is an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF). The individual hired for this position will be an employee of NCF and subject to all NCF personnel policies.

    An account to support the operations and growth of the Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund, including staff compensation and related costs and grants that demonstrate community impact.

    An account to raise funds to assist with the preservation of historic sites and objects in public locations in Norfolk, Nebraska.

  • Unrestricted Endowment

    A permanent account whose assets are invested to generate an ongoing source of income year after year.  Investment earnings from the endowment are used to support community improvements and programs.  The Fund Advisory Committee determines how the money generated from the endowment will be used to benefit the community now and in the future.
