The Wayne Community Foundation Fund encourages people from all walks of life to give back to their community by providing a full range of gift opportunities. A volunteer Fund Advisory Committee works actively to increase charitable giving and award grants to worthwhile organizations that are addressing the emerging needs and future opportunities in our community.

As an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, all contributions to the Wayne Community Foundation Fund are tax-deductible. An endowment to support activities of the Ley House in Wayne, Nebraska. The Ley House is a museum owned by the Wayne County Historical Society. Activities supported by this endowment include the preservation and maintenance of the Ley House; the acquisition and preservation of artifacts related to the town of Wayne; and educational activities relating to the history of Wayne and the surrounding area.
