
“The purpose of the Holt County Economic Development Fund is to support the activities of the joint public agency known as the Holt County Economic Development Agency. The Holt County Economic Development Agency was created by a Joint Public Agency Agreement dated April 30, 2007.
The purpose of the Holt County Economic Development Agency is to act as a coordination, education and service organization to foster, promote, encourage, develop, research, analyze and increase the knowledge, appreciation and practice of economic development and to help preserve and enhance the greater Holt County community’s economic growth. Upon the vote of two-thirds of the governmental units on a Resolution of the governmental units, the Agency may perform any other governmental service activity undertaking which at least one participating governmental unit is authorized to perform.
As an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, all contributions to the Holt County Economic Development Fund are tax-deductible. The Nebraska Community Foundation is confirmed in compliance with the National Standards for U.S. Community Foundations, and has met the nation’s highest philanthropic standards of operational quality, integrity and accountability. “
