Grant Support for Economic Development

Holt County Economic Development, an affiliated fund of NCF, has had a lot to celebrate since its launch in 2007. New and expanded businesses have created or retained more than 100 full-time jobs. Now there is more good news.  NCF’s Rudolph H. Elis Donor-Advised Fund, with an endowment of more than $2 million, made its first grant to HCED to support entrepreneurial development and people attraction in Holt County. The three-year commitment of $87,500 will be matched two-to-one by local sources and will support the hiring of a business coach.
