The Nebraska Community Foundation works with community, organizational and donor-advised affiliated funds serving 250 communities located in 80 counties. NCF and its affiliated funds have reinvested $269 million in Nebraska since 1994.
Look around you and you will find hundreds of items and printed materials that can help raise awareness for your affiliated fund. There are calendars, stickers, placemats, coffee cups, posters and lapel pins. Before you invest in these items think about the cost vs. the benefit. What is the “shelf life” of the item?
Here are a few examples of different promotional items:

Consider tapping into free publicity through different community channels: Community calendars, bulletin board displays and speakers bureaus for different community events.
Other organizations may be happy to give you space in their newsletters for stories about your affiliated fund.
Also consider giving presentations to the local bankers, attorneys, accountants, financial advisors and funeral home directors.
