The Nebraska Community Foundation works with community, organizational and donor-advised affiliated funds serving 250 communities located in 80 counties. NCF and its affiliated funds have reinvested $269 million in Nebraska since 1994.
A PowerPoint presentation can highlight key messages about your affiliated fund when you are addressing a group. It should be used as a tool and not a crutch! It should illustrate your information, not replace your own spoken words. This implies several things:
Avoid paragraphs. Use bullet points. Limit each slide to six points or less. Use succinct phrases instead of sentences. Six words or less. Every bullet is followed by a capital letter. No ALL CAPS. Keep words large enough—at least a 24-point font.
