Chambers Community Improvement Foundation

The Chambers Community Improvement Foundation (CCIF) was formed in 1997 in response to a group of area citizens that were interested in community improvement. Since its conception, the CCIF took on a very successful project to improve the Chambers park. This was our first ever drive for financial support. Much needed restrooms and a new park shelter were built from a buy-a-brick project. We are now in the beginning stages of planning a new Fire Hall/Community Center.

The CCIF provides an opportunity for individuals, like yourself, to give financial support back to the Chambers Community. All contributions made to the CCIF are deductible for income, estate, and gift tax purposes- Section 501C(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As a contributor, not only is your support tax deductible, but you can designate what you would like your contribution to be used for.

Please consider this letter our request for your financial support. Any financial contribution would be appreciated. Not only will you be recognized for your financial support but you will be helping promote the rich history and progress that is currently being made in the Chambers community.

In addition to the designated funds mentioned above the CCIF maintains a general fund that is segregated from individual project funds and is used to finance operating expenses as well as other area needs not included in a designated fund. The annual membership ($25/person currently) helps to support the operations of the fund and entitles members to voting privileges in the election of the local advisory board at the annual meeting on the 4th Tuesday in April.

Memorials and Honorariums given to the Chambers Community Improvement Foundation offers the Chambers Community and area another opportunity to remember or honor a special person or event. This is an excellent way to present a lasting tribute to a loved one, a deceased friend or relative, remember a special occasion, or acknowledge an outstanding achievement. Memorials and honorariums given to the Chambers Community Improvement Foundation qualify as charitable contributions for Income Tax purposes. If you would like to make a donation, we have nicely printed cards that can be inserted into a greeting or sympathy card. These memorial or honorarium cards are available at Village Market, Green Acres, and Tiny Tot Day Care.
