The City of Power and Progress cannot live up to its name without the growth and involvement of the city and area communities.  The Community Foundation’s creation will help ensure future generations the opportunity to promote entrepreneurship, develop leadership skills, retain and recruit youth, and enhance economic development activities.  The Foundation, through an unrestricted endowment, will work with other non-profit entities in ensuring their viability and service to area communities as well building a substantial unrestricted fund for future projects.  Through voluntary donations and estate planning, individuals will be creating a lasting memorial of their success and progress in the Columbus Area for generations to come.

The CACF invites you, your family, or your business to become a "Founder."  By contributing $1,000 today or through a multi-year pledge, you will be a "Founder," and you will help support community development efforts to:

• Connect leadership development to community needs and increase the number of people in leadership roles.

• Help existing business owners grow or transfer to new ownership, and help new entrepreneurs.

• Empower youth and young adults to take an active role in our area - creating stronger ties to our communities.

• Encourage charitable giving by community members to support the hometown that has given them so much.
