The Nebraska Community Foundation serves 205 community, organizational and donor-advised affiliated funds in 227 communities located in 77 Nebraska counties. NCF and its affiliated funds have reinvested $118.5 million in Nebraska since 1993.

NCF helps grassroots leaders inspire charitable giving in their own communities and make strategic grants to local organizations for long-term improvements and prosperity. A $2.3 million endowment has been established to support entrepreneurship and people attraction in north-central Nebraska. Rudolph H. Elis created a donor-advised fund in 2006 that was funded by a bequest upon his death.
