Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney is a written document that authorizes one person (the attorney-in-fact) to transact business on behalf of another person (the principal). It may be a general one that allows the attorney-in-fact to do virtually anything on behalf of the principal, or it may be limited to specific purposes.

Economic Education for Immigrant Families

“This grant is for new Americans to become involved in the community,” said Pat Heims, executive director of the Columbus Area United Way, which is partnering with the Columbus Multi-Cultural Alliance to deliver the new training program. 

A New Americans account has been established within the Columbus Area Community Foundation Fund. Long-term goals for the New Americans program include economic empowerment, financial literacy, economic self-sufficiency and civic engagement.
