A cash gift of $100,000 from a donor in the 25% tax bracket provides a charitable income tax deduction of $25,000 for the donor and removes the $100,000 gift form the donor’s taxable estate.

The HomeTown Competitiveness youth task force is spearheading a countywide youth advisory council.
