How To Direct Gifts to the Nebraska Community Foundation
Unrestricted Funds: These
funds may be expended at the discretion of the particular community or
charitable organization's Fund Advisory Committee to meet whatever charitable needs and opportunities deserve
community or organization priority. To accomplish this, unrestricted gifts may be
designated as follows:
Designated Funds: Donors
with interests in a particular
community or organization can designate the benefits of their gift to that
community fund or charitable organization fund. The following wording may be used:
Donors can reserve the privilege of recommending now or in the future communities or charitable organizations to be considered for grants. A Donor-Advised Fund can be named in your will as follows:
Endowment Fund: Donors
can designate that the principle of their gift to be invested and only
the annual income used at the discretion of the Foundation's Board
Directors to meet whatever charitable needs and opportunities deserve
priority as follows:
Donors desiring to designate gifts, establish named donor-advised funds or endowment funds are encouraged to contact a Foundation representative. You can then be assured that your desires can be fulfilled and your gift used in the most effective manner. In addition, we can provide at no cost computer illustrations of various gift plans and sample documents as needed without obligation.
