NCF Affiliated Fund Remote Training
From Acorn to Oak Tree: Helping donors grow their charitable giving from annual gifts to major or planned gifts.
NCF Gift Planning Director, Jim Gustafson, will help you identify donors who have given small annual gifts in the past or have been active in your community (the acorn) and may now be capable of major or planned gifts (the oak tree).
Jim’s been working with donors for many years and has learned the “art” of identifying annual donors or active community volunteers who might be interested in giving major gifts back to their community – either from their current income or a planned gift. He’ll give you pointers on how to do the same.
You’ll also hear real-life stories about how local volunteers Joe Kamler from Shickley and Pete Peterson from Ogallala that have done the same for their communities. Learn how to identify potential major donors and how to engage them in a conversation about your affiliated fund.
Lastly, Jim will give you even more tips on how to get a conversation started and how to keep on track with your plan for reaching out to a potential major or planned gift donor.
The webinar will be presented live on Wednesday, March 10th at 12:30pm CT/11:30am MT and again at 5:30pm CT/4:30pm MT.
This webinar is open to current Fund Advisory Committee members or affiliated fund volunteers only.
