Responding to “Yes,” “No” and “Maybe”
Making a face-to-face “ask” for contributions is the key to the success of your fundraising program. When you visit a potential donor there are three possible answers he or she can give you – “yes,” “no” or “maybe.”
On September 8, Jana Jensen, NCF’s Director of Community Fund Development – Western Nebraska, will provide practical advice on what to do when you hear “yes,” “no” or “maybe” from a potential donor as well as what follow up is needed for each response. Whether you’re new at making the ask or you’re an old pro, this presentation will give you the tools you need.
