Chair Training for Affiliated FundsServing as Chair of your Fund Advisory Committee (FAC) requires a variety of skills, attention to detail and knowledge of policies and procedures. This webinar, designed for those serving as Chair currently or those interested in serving as Chair in the future will provide you with information you need to lead your FAC to success. Topics covered will include:
- The relationship between your affiliated fund and the Nebraska Community Foundation
- Overview of laws and NCF policies relevant to your affiliated fund
- Risk management for affiliated funds
- The four strategies for success
- How to build a strong FAC team
The interactive webinar led by Marcia White, NCF’s Director of Community Development Philanthropy, and Jana Jensen, NCF’s Director of Community Fund Development – Western Nebraska, will be offered twice on Wednesday, February 8, once at 12:30pm CT (11:30am MT) and again at 5:30pm CT (4:30pm MT). Each webinar will last up to one hour.
