Anonymous gift honors late surgeon

McCOOK, Nebraska — Dr. Kenneth Ellis was a talented orthopedic surgeon who shared his gift of medicine by improving the quality of life for his many patients. ...
As a tribute to the life of Dr. Ellis and the many contributions he made to his patients in this area, the McCook Community Foundation Fund, an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation, has received a $15,000 anonymous memorial gift, which will be used to establish three new endowment funds.
