The Nebraska Community Foundation serves 214 community, organizational and donor-advised affiliated funds in 230 communities located in 77 Nebraska counties. NCF and its affiliated funds have reinvested $138.6 million in Nebraska since 1993.
Foundation funds can be used for community improvement

A group of area volunteers, working with the Fund Advisory Committee of the Boone County Area Community Foundation Fund, an affiliated fund of the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) have their sights set on a number of local community improvements. Petersburg committee members incrude. Radene Temme, Pat Thieraan, Cheri Wemer, Julie Baumgartner, Ashley Thieman, and Adam Wies. They are asking others to get involved. The group has established a permanent endowment account to benefit Petersburg, and a general account to support and maintain current activities. ...
