McCook, Vice Chair
A deep, respectful love for everything Nebraska has led to Cindy’s lifetime of learning and growth. After a career in education as a teacher, principal, and superintendent, it became evident that her true love was learning and connecting with people of all ages and our Nebraska communities. After retiring, she joined the McCook Community Foundation Fund. Through a commitment to Nebraska’s hometowns and the state she loves, she later joined the Nebraska Community Foundation Board of Directors in 2019.
Huff enjoys life with her husband, Tom, six children, eight grandchildren, and a home in rural Nebraska. She continues a commitment to public education through affiliation with the Nebraska Community Rural School Association, leading Superintendent Searches and School Board Development.
Huff is deeply committed to the missions of her local McCook Community Fund and Nebraska Community Foundation through discovering and working with the abundance that already exists in all of our hometowns.
