Manager of Public/Private Partnerships and Senior Advisor
Diane works part-time as Manager of Public/Private Partnerships and Senior Advisor. In these roles, Diane serves as a key liaison with several NCF public/private partnership funds, including the Platte River Recovery Implementation Program Fund, and performs special projects. She joined Nebraska Community Foundation in July 2006 and served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer through February 2016.
Diane has over 35 years of experience in finance and tax, including advising tax-exempt organizations. Prior to joining NCF, Diane was the Vice President – Taxes for a real estate investment trust (REIT). Diane spent 17 years in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP and Grant Thornton LLP and was a tax partner at both firms.
Diane has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. from the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA. She grew up in New London, Iowa and lived in Colorado, California, and New Mexico before returning to the Midwest when she joined NCF.
