Byron Peer Learning and Networking

Please join us for an evening of peer learning and networking in Byron! We’ll start with a hometown tour featuring the community’s two-aisle grocery story, darling boutique, and million-dollar community center that includes a library and 24-hour fitness facility . . . all in a town of 83.

Attendees will then have a chance to engage with peers throughout the region as well as NCF staff and partners on a variety of topics including:

Treasurer Talk – Nebraska Community Foundation’s CFO and FAC treasurers talk best practices for this crucial position

FAC Opportunities – Learn about Hometown Interns, Impact Planning, and grants available exclusively to those in the network

Quality Childcare – Communities For Kids (C4K) will be in the house as well as a representative from Shickley’s Diapers to Diplomas (Rule 11) to discuss avenues for filling this critical need in our communities

Big Give – Whether you’re well-versed or just getting started, this conversation is for any community looking to capitalize on the opportunities a Big Give can offer
