NCF Immersive Learning Experience

This 24-hour opportunity is a deep dive into a community to explore themes that are inspirational, informational, and aspirational to community-based affiliated funds. Our experience begins at 4:00pm on December 4th and concludes at 4:00pm on December 5th.

Participants will explore areas where the host fund has endeavored to support transformational change in their communities. In Boone County we will explore collaborative relationships between the fund and city (housing initiative fund and parks), support of innovative space reuse (Petersburg Village Campus & Cardinal Kids Club), growth of a charitable giving culture (Boone County Big Give and longstanding support of community amenities like the Boone County Fitness Center, Boone County Ag Center). And uncover the goodness created by using unrestricted endowment payout to support people throughout Boone County working to leverage developing efforts – building community capacity and knowledge.
