Hillcrest Nursing Home Endowment Fund

Hillcrest cares for generations of Nebraskans from miles around. The entire region depends on Hillcrest for skilled nursing, assisted living, and quality childcare. The facility opened in 1963 with just 23 rooms. Through the years, Hillcrest has undergone several renovations and additions. Today, facilities include Hidden Pines Assisted Living Community, a Special Care Unit for Alzheimer’s residents, a Heavy Care Unit, Adult Day Care, and our Little Folks’ Childcare Center licensed for 45 children. The nursing home is a 100-bed dual-certified Medicare/Medicaid Skilled Care facility with 160 dedicated employees.

The Hillcrest Nursing Home Foundation is focused on building an endowment that will equip Hillcrest Nursing Home for whatever the future holds. The endowment is an important tool to keep our organization growing, thriving and improving. It creates a steady stream of revenue for needs today and those that arise in the years to come. Funds in the endowment are invested and continue to increase. Each year, a portion of the income earned by the endowment becomes available to use. The principal—and your gift—remains intact and grows forever.
