The Newman Grove Community Foundation Fund (NGCFF) provides funding for a variety of projects in and around the Newman Grove community. We encourage individuals as well as businesses to become members and join their friends and neighbors in our effort.
Currently our priority is improving our community ballfield facilities to open the door for more teams, tournaments, other sports, and community programs. Not only does this project benefit the players of Newman Grove, but the players that come to visit our complex as well as coaches, future ball players, fans, and community members. Support for this effort may be directed to the REC Baseball/Softball Field Project account listed below.
Funds received will be used for:
- A new multi-purpose building including restrooms, concessions and equipment storage
- Field improvements including proper drainage, infield surfacing, an irrigation system, outfield fencing, bleachers, improved dugouts, and scoreboards
- Community amenities like a playground, covered picnic area, and sidewalk
NGCFF is also building an endowment which will provide a permanent revenue stream for community improvement. A percentage of the endowment’s earnings can be used each year for community projects while the principal remains invested and continues to grow.
