Nebraska Community Foundation proudly welcomes Emily Sulzle of Lincoln to its growing team of community development professionals with a passion for the future of Greater Nebraska.
As Assistant Director of Gift Planning, Sulzle will work closely with Nebraska Community Foundation’s (NCF’s) planned giving team to help individuals, families and businesses give back to the causes and communities they care about most. Sulzle says her goal is to ensure that donors’ legacy wishes are documented in a way that fulfills their desires.
Sulzle is based in Lincoln but will work with Nebraskans across the state to support and benefit the work of over 250 communities and 220 affiliated funds in the Nebraska Community Foundation network. Her background in planned giving started at the University of Nebraska Foundation, where she worked with the gift planning team for more than four years. In her new position, Sulzle said she is excited to put her skills and energy toward helping donors make an impact in their hometowns.
Jim Gustafson, Director of Advancement and Gift Planning said Sulzle’s expertise and enthusiasm are a welcome addition to the NCF team. “Emily is both a learner and an educator and I’m confident she will be of great service to both our generous donors and volunteers who are using philanthropy to meet ambitious goals in their own communities. We are so proud to welcome her to the NCF family.”
Sulzle graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in nonprofit administration. She and her husband, Josh, have four children – Aurora, Olivia, Samuel and Elijah.
