Becky Ries

Becky serves as Assistant Director of Gift Planning for NCF, where she works with individuals, families, and professional advisors to design charitable gift plans that create lasting impact across Nebraska. She enjoys walking alongside donors as they support what they care about most and invest in their communities—both today and for the future.

In her role, Becky supports local leaders and volunteers across the state, helping them raise funds and build lasting support for their communities.

Becky brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership experience. She previously served as executive director of the Valley County Health System Foundation for 12 years, leading fundraising, donor engagement, and community relations efforts. She also served as executive director of Valley County Economic Development and the Ord Chamber of Commerce.

Originally from Grand Island, Becky has called Ord home since 1997. She and her husband, Jim, have two adult children and enjoy being grandparents. Outside of work, Becky enjoys running, all things health and wellness, spending time outdoors, and keeping up with her grandchildren’s activities.

She is inspired by the generosity and spirit of Nebraska communities and enjoys connecting people in meaningful ways.
