What do Nebraska youth want most from the places they choose to live, and importantly, what would it take for them to return to their hometowns in the future? Since 2020, Nebraska Community Foundation and the Center for Public Affairs Research at the University of Nebraska at Omaha have surveyed more than 3,700 middle and high school students to better understand their priorities, values, and desires and how they truly feel about the places they call home.
