A 21st century vision for experiencing the Nebraska National Forest at Halsey and the Nebraska Sandhills.

The Sandhills Discovery Center is a complex envisioned to build a bigger, bolder, better facility with three key functions:

1. Hosting residential youth camping experiences
2. Hosting local and regional celebrations, events, and conferences
3. Providing lodging and amenities for tourists to experience the forest and the Sandhills
