Beth Roelfs

Diller

Beth Roelfs is a lifelong resident of Diller. After graduating from Doane College with a degree in education she married her husband Dean. They farm and have a cow/calf herd with their sons, Allen and Adam. Both have chosen to return to the Diller community to build their dreams.

Over her career, Beth served the Odell and Diller-Odell Public Schools as an elementary teacher, Title One and elementary special education instructor. Beth received her MS in Education from Doane College. She retired from her passion job in 2020 having taught for 24 years. She worked for Blue Valley Community Action, serving as an AmeriCorps member focusing on conflict resolution and mediation education with youth, as well as Disabilities Coordinator for the Head Start/Early Head Start programs. 

Roelfs is a founding member of the Diller Community Foundation Fund and has served in several offices. She is the chair of the Diller Park Improvement Committee. Beth is a member of D2 Housing and coordinates community programming for youth through her church and school. The Roelfs family are members of St. Paul in Diller where Beth serves on the Christian Education Committee.

Beth’s passions are children and community. Her dream for Diller is to ignite passion, pride, and engagement in the hearts of many community members for “Their Place”. This energy will ensure that Roelf’s hometown will have what it needs to perpetuate its good into the future.
