Lunch & Learn: Progress in Pender

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, July 11 and join Nebraska Community Foundation and volunteers from the Pender-Thurston Education and Community Foundation Fund to discuss their most ambitious capital project to date – the Pender Community Center!

FAC members Ray Welsh and Katie Gutzmann (who is also the Manager of the Pender Community Center) will discuss a variety of topics relating to capital project fundraising including lessons learned, getting the community on board, and how Pender has taken on and achieved so much – add to that list a hospital expansion, a new law enforcement center and two Main Street housing and storefront refurbishment projects!
