* Calamus Area Unrestricted Endowment
A permanent account whose assets are invested to generate an ongoing source of income year after year. Investment earnings from the endowment are used to support community improvements and programs. The Fund Advisory Committee determines how the money generated from the endowment will be used to benefit the community now and in the future.

* Calamus Community Center Account
The purpose of this account is to raise funds to assist with construction and maintenance of a Community Center in Burwell, Nebraska (“Project”). At the time the Project moves from intermittent fundraising to active planning and the Project owner is known, a capital project account will be established. The Project owner must be a governmental or 501(c)(3) entity.

Aprill Family Applied Ag Academy Account
The purpose of this Account is to support an agriculture-focused, multi-disciplinary academic program at Burwell High School.

To provide funds to assist with the renovation of the Burwell High School Track and Field area in Burwell, NE.

Burwell Veterans Memorial Park Account
The Burwell Veterans Memorial Park Account fund goes to provide ongoing support for the maintenance of the veterans wall where local veterans are memorialized and to purchase new flags. The Veterans Memorial Park is located on the northeast corner of the square. This park helps promote awareness of our local veterans and what they have sacrificed for our freedom.

To raise funds to improve and maintain the Fair Grounds in Burwell, Nebraska.

To raise fund to support the Burwell City/Public Library.

Gaylord and Alta Wallace Scholarship Account
An account to provide funding for scholarships to graduates of Burwell High School and Loup County High School or their successors. To the extent that school consolidation occurs, preference shall be given to students who reside in Loup County or Garfield County.

Gaylord and Alta Wallace Endowment Account
A permanent endowment account which supports the Cottonwood Cemetery, Garfield County Historical Society and Museum, and the Garfield County Library annually.

Kevin Brown Hiking / Biking Trail Account
An account to help support the design, planning, construction and maintenance of the Kevin Brown Hiking/Biking Trail in the Village of Taylor, beginning near the Veterans Memorial and continuing north along Highway 183.

Rolland & Irene Ramsthel Scholarship Account
An account to provide scholarships for individuals pursuing training to become a Registered Nurse and who are graduates of Burwell High School, Ord High School, Wheeler Central High School or Loup County High School.

Weverka/Burwell Public Schools Endowment Account
This account is a permanent endowment for the purpose of enhancing educational opportunities in Burwell Public Schools and providing scholarships to Burwell Public Schools graduates to further their education.
