Holt County Economic Development logoThe purpose of the Holt County Economic Development Fund is to support the activities of the joint public agency known as the Holt County Economic Development Agency. The Holt County Economic Development Agency was created by a Joint Public Agency Agreement dated April 30, 2007.

Holt County Economic Development Agency acts as a coordination, education and service organization to foster, promote, encourage, develop, research, analyze and increase the knowledge, appreciation and practice of economic development and to help preserve and enhance the greater Holt County community’s growth. Upon the vote of two-thirds of the governmental units on a resolution of the governmental units, the agency may perform any other governmental service activity undertaking which at least one participating governmental unit is authorized to perform.
