The Nebraska Reporting Fund was established in 2021 by the Nebraska Journalism Trust, an independent, 501(c)3 public charity, to:

  • Increase the quality, quantity and understanding of investigative journalism

  • Foster an informed citizenry and strengthen democracy in Nebraska

  • Support the gathering and dissemination of information in a nonpartisan manner about important public-policy issues facing the state and its communities
