The Red Cloud Community Foundation Fund exists to support projects that will enhance the quality of life in Red Cloud. For many generations, residents of Red Cloud have enjoyed a wonderful quality of life. To ensure that the children and grandchildren of today’s residents continue to have that opportunity, many current and former residents are supporting Red Cloud by giving charitably.

Red Cloud established its Foundation Fund in 1995 and is now working on several projects and is helping to fund key community needs, including: scholarships, historic preservation, Red Cloud Community Schools and Auld Public Library. The Foundation Fund is also considering grants to other projects and areas of community need. These may include healthcare, parks and recreation, fire and rescue, community infrastructure and others. The Foundation Fund now has over $300,000 in assets and is annually awarding scholarships and grants to key community needs.

An account to help support the development and construction of a new high-quality child care center in Red Cloud, Nebraska. Funds in excess to the amount required for development and construction will be used for activities for charitable purposes and only operation of the child care center.
Heritage Tourism Development Account
An account to support charitable activities related to increasing the economic and community impact of heritage tourism in Red Cloud.
This unrestricted endowment was started with a $100,000 legacy challenge grant offered by former residents Frank and Shirley Sibert. Their gift was successfully matched, creating a $200,000 endowment. Earnings from this fund are granted annually for local causes by the Red Cloud Fund Advisory Committee.
