This fund is to benefit the Nebraska counties of Chase, Dundy, Frontier, Hayes, Hitchcock, and Red Willow. Areas of interest for grantmaking include but are not limited to the following; all must qualify as charitable:
- Projects, activities, and community amenities that will aid in people attraction and retention in the area
- Health care programs and facilities
- Programs and facilities that support senior citizens
- Emergency services and fire protection
- Early childhood education
- Creating a margin of excellence in K-12 public schools
- Local community colleges, for programs, equipment, or scholarships for residents of the six-county area

Unrestricted Endowment
A permanent account whose assets are invested to generate an ongoing source of income year after year. Investment earnings from the endowment are used to support community improvements and programs. The Fund Advisory Committee determines how the money generated from the endowment will be used to benefit the community now and in the future.
