NCF to present 2018 Good Living Tour

The Good Living Tour returns in 2018, bringing the beloved summer concert series to four Greater Nebraska communities in an effort to celebrate the unique livelihood Nebraska has to offer. Nebraska Community Foundation is proud to serve as presenting sponsor for this year’s event.

Now a division of youth education and outreach nonprofit Rabble Mill, Hear Nebraska is better equipped than ever to help answer the question “What is there to do here?” by featuring homegrown Nebraska musicians, progressive community building and — new this year — skateboard-centric programming, including skate school and exhibition.

“The Good Living Tour connects us with the abundance in our hometowns, including terrific local musicians and artists,” says Nebraska Community Foundation President and CEO Jeff Yost. “Showcasing local talent is a wonderful way to celebrate the goodness that is Nebraska.”

Keeping with tradition, the Good Living Tour will feature some of Nebraska’s most buzzed-about original bands — ranging in style from hip-hop to honky tonk — performing in family friendly outdoor concerts, free and open to all ages. The 2018 tour will travel to four locations, three of which are home to Nebraska Community Foundation community-based affiliated funds: Imperial, Red Cloud, and Norfolk. Community-based affiliated funds have been instrumental to the tour, working closely with Hear Nebraska to supply concert goers and musicians with unique performance venues, additional funding, and fun activities for fans of all ages.
