David Brooks’ Greater Nebraska Visit Postponed

New York Times Op-Ed columnist David Brooks’ visit to Greater Nebraska – originally scheduled for Oct. 23-24 – has been postponed.

Part of Weave: The Social Fabric Project, his rescheduled tour will include stops in McCook and North Central Nebraska communities including Stuart, Ainsworth, Bassett, Atkinson and O’Neill to conduct interviews with local community builders and see firsthand the accomplishments of these extraordinary hometowns. No new dates have been confirmed as of this posting.

During their time in Nebraska, Brooks and his team will engage in a “listening tour” which will include one-on-one interviews and community tours. McCook and the North Central region were selected through a partnership with Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF) which is unleashing abundant local assets, inspiring charitable giving, and connecting ambitious people in over 250 communities across the state.
