Adapted from a previous NCF education session titled “Party with a Purpose,” we’re revisiting the reasons affiliated funds host events, and when it’s best to look at alternatives.
In just a little over 45 minutes, KC Belitz (Chief Operating Officer) and Jason Kennedy (Chief Financial and Administrative Officer) discuss important inclusion, risk, and liability issues to keep in mind when hosting an event, especially in the age of COVID-19. Remember, using NCF’s event insurance is recommended, however:
- Disease claims aren’t covered so our protection is being diligent
- And if we are diligent, we can minimize risk
- You must follow directed health measures and other expert guidance
- Being inclusive in this environment will require extra effort
