Senior Accountant Karla Egger to Retire

The NCF team extends its most sincere congratulations to our friend and colleague, Karla Egger. After nearly 12 years in the accounting department, she will retire from Nebraska Community Foundation at the end of the month.

“Karla is constantly working to find ways to help NCF staff and our operations team find the most efficient way to complete tasks. Karla takes great pride in process improvement and is always open to new ways of doing things. She has a keen attention to detail that ensures accuracy in the projects she’s involved in,” said Nebraska Community Foundation CFO Jason Kennedy. “I am so pleased that she’ll have more time to do some of the things she really enjoys. Nobody deserves that more than Karla.”

Karla says she is most looking forward to spending more time with grandkids, traveling, and her favorite hobby, rug hooking! She describes her career at NCF as “rewarding, evolving and challenging.” Karla reports that the most fulfilling part of her position has been “Witnessing the love of community that Nebraskans have for their hometowns.”

Please join us in congratulating and thanking Karla for her many years of dedicated service to Nebraska Community Foundation’s work and mission!
