What do you love about your community? What are some of its greatest assets?
I love how the community is involved in everything. One of the greatest assets is how almost everyone is very welcoming.

What made you want to pursue an NCF Hometown Internship?
This gave me an opportunity to learn about a community that was close to my hometown. It also helps me with what I am planning to do once I finish at UNK.

What projects are you working on this summer?
I am working on many projects this summer, including the Businesses Partnership Program and running the children’s activities at Street Car Days.

What do you hope to learn or experience?
I hope to learn everything it takes to run a daycare and new things about childcare.

How would you describe the opportunity so far?
This opportunity is exciting! I am grateful for all the experience I am getting from this scholarship and from the daycare!

What are your hopes and dreams for the future of your hometown?
My hopes and dreams for the future of my hometown are to bring the area businesses together to build community and make it fun for families.

What are you looking for in a place to call home?
I am looking for a place that is very welcoming, where everyone is involved in almost everything. Also a place that advocates for families, especially children!

Yes, I could see myself living in Greater Nebraska in the future!
