NCF included in celebration of Nebraska institutions

On its 25th birthday, Nebraska Life magazine decided to share the spotlight and celebrate institutions that are undeniably Nebraskan. We are proud to say Nebraska Community Foundation made the cut.

We’re in good company, as the July/August 2022 issue’s feature highlights two other venerable Nebraska creations: Arbor Day Foundation and our state’s unique Natural Resources Districts. We’re ecstatic to see the work of our affiliated funds showcased alongside the impact made by those two hallmarks of Nebraska progress.

The article highlights work in Nebraska City, Imperial, and McCook, accompanied by lovely photos of Stuart, Red Cloud, and Bennet. Overall, the story emphasizes the NCF network’s people attraction efforts, particularly its focus on showing Nebraska youth that a bright future awaits in Greater Nebraska.

“Day by day,” writes Megan Feeney, “the statewide foundation supports local efforts to develop Nebraskans’ confidence, skills, collaborative spirit, and openness to the vast possibilities of their hometowns.”

Nebraska Life has graciously allowed us to share a copy of the article. Or you can visit www.nebraskalife.com to purchase a single issue or subscribe!
