Nebraska Community Foundation is proud to announce the promotions of Teri Alley-Davis to Administrative Services Manager/Technology Coordinator and of Becky Ries to Assistant Director of Gift Planning.
Alley-Davis’ promotion reflects her increased tasks associated with the daily operations of the office and especially her duties related to NCF’s technology capabilities. In her new role, she handles all facility management, manages administrative workflow for the NCF team, assists with human resources, and manages countless day-to-day tasks that keep NCF running smoothly, including ensuring NCF’s technology and IT security needs remain fulfilled. Alley-Davis also plays a key role in oversight and administration for NCF’s public/private partnership funds and is the point person for affiliated fund grant applications and grant reporting. She ensures that contracts, pledges, and challenge grant agreements are properly documented.
One of NCF’s longest-tenured employees, Alley-Davis joined the organization in 2003.
“Teri’s institutional knowledge has made her a key asset for NCF,” said NCF Chief Financial and Administrative Officer Jason Kennedy. “We are thankful to have her on our team.”
Ries joined NCF in early 2024 as the Affiliated Fund Development Coordinator for north central Nebraska, where she has extensive nonprofit and fundraising experience. In her new role, she will work alongside the director of gift planning in helping individuals and families implement charitable gift plans for the benefit of NCF and its affiliated funds. Ries will also work with NCF affiliated funds to help them develop and implement charitable gift planning strategies.
She served as the executive director for the Valley County Health System Foundation for a cumulative 12 years, where her responsibilities included fundraising, grant writing, marketing, public relations, donor stewardship and event coordination. Prior to joining NCF, she was the executive director of Valley County Economic Development and the Ord Chamber of Commerce.
“We are excited for Becky and what she can bring to this new role with her knowledge, experience and skill set,” Kennedy said. “We’re convinced this move will help NCF have an even bigger impact on its network.”
